I commented on Hill's and Draco's articles
I'm shocked by this incident. I thought the drivers in Singapore were all nice and warm-hearted. They always help me patiently when I don't know when to get off the bus or I've lost my things on the bus. I still believe that this is just a rare case. The driver might have some trouble and was a little moody that day. However, the quality of service he delivered should not be affected by his mood. If he had right reasons to refuse the old man to load his belongings according to the rules, he should say it at first. However, I think that people will not refuse to take SBS buses because of this. The image of the company may be affected, but not seriously.
You haven't posted the url of the original article, so I didn't know the case...but judging from what you've said, the article was about young Singaporeans got cheated when doing business in China? I agree that it's quite easy to be cheated in small businesses. Big companies are generally faithful. The economy is booming so fast tha everyone want to make the largest profit from it by whatever means. Chinese people have already got used to this phenomenon, which is very sad. I think China is still a good place to investigate. After all, there are so many chances and such a big market. However, you must be intellegent and mature enough.
